NCAA Portable Indoor Discus / Shot Put Cage

The Gill portable discus, shot, and indoor weight cages are fabricated from 2 1/2 schedule 40 aluminum pipe. Net poles have 33 rolled offsets and are mounted on heavy steel bases. Bases are fitted with two ball bearing 6 wheels, which allow pole assemblies to be rocked back and easily moved. Once in position, four 5 gallon jugs, filled with water or sand, secure net poles in place. Cages employ weather treated nylon nets and vinyl coated steel net support cables to reduce net sag, ensuring maximum net height. Nets are secured to bases by replaceable shock absorbing bungee cords.
